For day events and haldi ceremonies, lean towards breathable Chanderis or bright Bandhanis. For evening receptions and main events, heavy Kanjeevarams or deep-toned Banarasis in jewel colours provide the requisite grandeur.

Care & Preservation
Store handloom silks in muslin, never plastic. Refold every six months to prevent zari from cracking, and air them in indirect sunlight twice a year. A well-loved Banarasi or Kanjeevaram will outlive trends — and gather meaning with every drape.
